Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information anymail processes when you use the service or contact us, and how we handle it.
1. Information we process
- Account information: mailbox addresses, account names and credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form).
- Mail content: messages sent, received and stored in mailboxes, including headers and attachments.
- Technical logs: IP addresses, connection times, delivery and authentication events, used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
- Correspondence: information you send us when you contact us.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: deliver, receive and store email for the mailbox owner.
- To secure the service: prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To respond to support, abuse and deliverability requests.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use mail content for advertising.
3. Sharing
We share information only when it is needed to deliver mail (for example, with the recipient's mail server), with infrastructure providers that host the service, or when required by law. We may share limited information about abusive messages with affected parties or anti-abuse organizations to stop abuse.
4. Retention
Mail is kept until the mailbox owner deletes it or the account is closed. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations, then deleted.
5. Security
Connections to the service are encrypted with TLS, and access to systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the data we hold.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information about you by contacting admin@anymail.si. If you received an unwanted message from an anymail address, report it to abuse@anymail.si.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
